tax tables

tax tables
Tables issued by the Board of Inland Revenue to employers to assist them in calculating the tax due from their employees under the pay as you earn system. The tables are provided either for weekly or monthly payments. In practice, most employers now calculate salaries, wages, and tax deductions by computer, using a program into which the tax tables are incorporated.
